PROJECT OVERVIEW:
TransAstronautica Corp commissioned a one-pager for their innovative new product, the Worker Bee Space Tug. This groundbreaking solution for satellite and constellation transportation necessitated the creation of visually compelling and well-crafted omnichannel assets to captivate potential investors and secure their attention.
ROLE:
Communication Designer (consultant). The role involved overseeing a small group of graphic designers, copywriters and stakeholder managers, guiding the team through all design stages from stakeholder research and ideation through to delivery and closeout.
IDEATION:
The concept for this asset came together following conversations with TransAstra's internal marketing, engineering and design teams. Our aim was to communicate complex technical information and market superiority in an accessible, but engaging and exciting, format.
CAMPAIGN CREATION PROCESS:
1. Research and Collaboration: Analyzing Worker Bee's specifications and the competitive landscape with technical and marketing teams.
2. Strategic Planning: Developing a project plan with key milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
3. Design Development: Guiding the visual development team to adhere to branding guidelines and to highlight unique selling points.
4. Content Creation: Crafting clear, technically accurate messaging for a broad audience.
5. Feedback and Revisions: Managing feedback from stakeholders, including C-Suite, and incorporating revisions to meet all requirements.
IMPACT AND REFLECTION:
The final communicates Worker Bee's unique benefits: it emphasizes its speed, payload capacity, and cost-efficiency. Distributed as part of a larger campaign, it generated significant interest and inquiries from potential clients and partners. This project demonstrated the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, manage complex communications, and support TransAstra's mission to industrialize space.
